Calendar and goals
The Calendar page shows your work, your study sessions and the rest of your life in one place.
Calendar, Schedule and Plan
The Calendar page has three views:
- Calendar: the month, with the day you pick listed underneath. Step day by day with the arrows next to its date.
- Schedule: your week by time, with classes, events and study sessions.
- Plan: this week's study plan, one day at a time, with this week's totals at the top. Past weeks steps back to see what got done.
Calendar settings
The gear next to the month opens Calendar settings. So do Adjust in Plan My Week and the Calendar row in Settings. It has four tabs, and every change saves as you make it:
- View: the first day of your week, which view the Calendar opens to, and whether to show the class schedule.
- Study plan: Plan next week on its own, how much to study each day, how early to start preparing, and your personal goals. Advanced has session length and breaks.
- Availability: your study hours, your recurring commitments, and a summary of the time that's left for studying.
- Calendars: the calendars you've linked, whose events count as busy time. Each one's ⋯ menu has its options.
Commitments
Add practice, work, clubs and anything else that takes up your time, under Availability in Calendar settings. Each one opens in its own small editor. Planner blocks those times off, so study sessions only go into time that's actually free. If a commitment or a calendar change lands on a planned session, Planner tells you, with Move to find the next free time or Leave to keep it.
Personal goals
Add goals outside school, like running 3 times a week, reading 20 minutes a day or college essays 2 hours a week, under Study plan in Calendar settings. Plan My Week finds time for them first and spreads them across the week. The pause button next to a goal stops planning it until you resume it.
- Drag a goal block to another time in the Schedule and it stays there when you replan.
- Click a goal block to mark it done, edit the goal, skip it this week or remove that one session.
- Not this week skips a goal for the week when you're sick, away or swamped, and its streak carries on.
- The weekly review shows how each goal went, like "Run, 2 of 3". Hit a goal two weeks running and it gets a streak.
Notes on a day
Open a day on the Calendar and tap Note to jot down things like "Half day" or "Bring permission slip". The note shows on the Calendar and the Schedule.
Find group time
Working on a group project? On the Schedule, tap Find group time and send the link to your group chat. Each friend who opens it adds when they're free, and Planner shows the times this week that work for everyone, for up to 4 people.
Friends don't need an account: they tap the hours they're busy, add their first name and share the link on. Only first names and busy or free times go in the link, never your classes, assignments or grades. It isn't saved anywhere, and it stops working after its week.
